With the improvement of people's living standards and the enhancement of environmental protection awareness, some areas even use gas in rural areas. At the same time, the flammable and explosive nature of gas also makes gas alarms one of the important members of protecting family safety.
In the process of using the gas alarm, what common sense must be mastered?
1). Product selection
When choosing a gas alarm, you must purchase it according to the type of gas you use. Some are suitable for natural gas and some are suitable for detecting liquefied petroleum gas. Different regions have different gas components, so gas alarms with local gas components for calibration and testing should be used.
In addition, when buying, don't just look at the price, but also pay attention to whether the product has fire protection certification. The quality of the product that can be checked on the fire network is guaranteed.
2). Installation location
1. The alarm is installed in the kitchen, gas stove and other places where gas appliances are used or in the room with gas pipeline;
2. For users who use natural gas, the installation height should be within 0.3m from the roof;
3. The alarm should be installed in a space 0.5m---1.5m away from the gas appliance.
3). Maintenance and testing
The installation and maintenance of the gas alarm have a certain degree of professionalism. In the daily use process, the following points should be paid attention to:
1. Frequently wipe and clean the air inlet of the alarm, pay attention not to use irritating and corrosive cleaning agents when cleaning;
2. Relevant agencies should conduct regular inspections in accordance with the specified gas concentration. The inspection items should meet the relevant national and industry requirements, and those that fail to pass the inspection should be repaired or replaced;
3. Under normal working environment, the service life of the alarm is limited, which depends on the sensor used inside the alarm. When the service life of the sensor is reached, it should be replaced in time.
