Gas alarms are also called gas leak detection and alarm instruments, which mainly include two types of detection alarms for combustible and toxic gases. When the flammable or toxic gas leaks in the daily life environment (such as the kitchen using natural gas) or the industrial environment, when the gas alarm detects that the gas concentration reaches the alarm value set by the alarm, the alarm will emit sound and light alarm signals , To remind people to take safety measures such as evacuation, forced ventilation, and shutdown of equipment to prevent explosion, fire, and poisoning accidents, thereby ensuring safe production. It is often used in places where flammable gas is used or produced in chemical plants, oil and gas stations, and steel plants.
This product is a combustible gas detector, which is used to detect the leakage of combustible gas and prevent the damage caused by gas leakage. The combustible gas detector adopts a high-stability semiconductor sensor, which has the characteristics of high stability and small sensitivity drift. The product adopts wall-mounted installation, AC 220V power supply, easy to install, and the alarm output terminal adopts press-on terminal, no screws, simpler and faster wiring! Widely used in homes, hotels, apartments and other places where flammable gas leaks Perform security monitoring. It can detect natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas and artificial coal gas. The detector also has the function of storing and recording various alarm information. Users can read the stored historical records through the internal communication interface of the device to facilitate understanding of the cause of gas leakage.
When the detector detects the leakage of combustible gas in the environment and reaches the alarm concentration set by the detector, the red LED light of the detector flashes, an alarm sound is issued, and an alarm signal is output. When the concentration of combustible gas in the surrounding environment drops below the set threshold, the detector will automatically return to its normal working state.
Precautions for installation
1. Installation location: Install within 1 meter of the easy leakage place, as close as possible, such as: gas outlet, pipe connection, valve and pipe connection.
2. When installing at home, it should also be noted that the installation location should not be too close to the gas stove to prevent the detector from being baked by the stove flame; it should not be installed in a place with heavy oil smoke, so as to avoid false alarms or cause the detector to enter. Poor air intake will affect the detection sensitivity of the detector; it cannot be installed on exhaust fans, doors and windows, and where there is a lot of water vapor in the bathroom.
3. Correct wiring according to the diagram, and all wiring installation must comply with national and local effective regulations and standards. Inappropriate connection will cause abnormal alarm in case of gas leakage.
4. Fix it on the wall with mounting screws and hang the detector.
5. Avoid installing the detector in silicon adhesive, hair spray, silicon rubber, putty or other places where volatile silicon compounds exist.
6. Avoid installing in a highly corrosive environment. Corrosive gases (such as H2S, SOX, Cl2, HC, etc.) will cause irreversible damage to the sensor.
